Terms of Service for AskQuran

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live to use the App. AskQuran is not directed to children under 13.

3. App Usage and Conduct

• Purpose: The App provides information related to the Quran via an AI-powered interface.
• Permitted Use: Lawful purposes only.
• Prohibited Conduct: No illegal use, reverse-engineering, malware, or automated tools.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

• Our Content: All features and functionality are owned by AskQuran.
• User Content: You retain ownership of your content. You grant us permission to process it only as necessary to provide, secure, and improve the App. We do not use your content to train our own AI or machine-learning models.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

AskQuran may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and introductory offers, including free trials. The price, subscription period, trial eligibility, and features included are shown to you before you confirm a purchase. The following Apple-specific terms apply to purchases made through the Apple App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple account after you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting your AskQuran account does not cancel an active Apple subscription or stop Apple billing.
• If you are eligible for a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, your subscription converts to the paid plan displayed at purchase.

6. Disclaimers

• "AS IS" Basis: The App is provided without any warranties.
• Not Religious Authority: Content is for Quran study and informational purposes only. AI-generated answers can be incomplete or inaccurate and are not fatwas or personalized religious rulings. Consult qualified scholars for religious guidance and qualified professionals for medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

AskQuran and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless AskQuran from claims arising from your use or breach of these Terms.

9. Account Deletion and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations. You may initiate account deletion in the Profile area of the App. Account deletion removes your account and associated App data, subject to any retention required by law or necessary for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. It does not cancel an active Apple subscription; cancel subscriptions separately in Apple account subscription settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time with 30 days' notice for material changes.
